Jewellery Merchandiser

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Jewellery Merchandiser to drive product selection, assortment planning and inventory productivity across branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and optimise jewellery assortment across branches based on sales, customer preferences and market trends.
• Analyse sales & inventory data to identify fast, slow-moving and ageing stock.
• Drive product selection, new design launches and performance tracking.
• Plan branch-wise assortment, replenishment and inter-branch stock movement.
• Track competitor designs, pricing, trends and new collections.
• Coordinate with jewellery vendors and the Design Team for new products and collections.
• Conduct branch/market visits to understand customer preferences and merchandise requirements.
• Plan merchandise requirements for festivals, wedding seasons and key campaigns.
• Prepare MIS and management reports on stock productivity, sell-through, inventory turnover and new design performance.

Ideal Candidate

✔ 6–8 years of experience in Jewellery Merchandising / Buying / Category Management / Product Development / Retail Inventory Planning
✔ Strong understanding of Gold, Diamond & jewellery categories
✔ Excellent knowledge of jewellery designs, trends and customer preferences
✔ Strong analytical skills with advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets knowledge
✔ Strong vendor coordination and commercial acumen
✔ Experience with a reputed jewellery retail chain preferred
✔ Willingness to travel to branches and vendor locations
