CNC Programmer

You'll join the Productin team as a CNC Programmer, working full-time in an office setting to create, refine, and support CNC programs that drive machining operations. This hands-on role bridges engineering intent and shop-floor results, letting you turn drawings into precise, repeatable parts.

What you'll do

• Develop and edit CNC programs (G-code) from engineering drawings and CAD/CAM outputs.
• Create toolpaths, select tooling and cutting parameters, and simulate operations to prevent collisions and ensure efficiency.
• Work with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot setups, resolve process issues, and implement improvements.
• Document programs, tooling lists, and process notes to support repeatable production and quality control.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CAM/CAD software and the ability to generate reliable toolpaths (examples: Mastercam, Fusion 360, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, feeds and speeds, and basic machining principles.
• Clear communicator who can collaborate across production and engineering and work full-time in an office-based role.
